The University Council of Jamaica (UCJ) is proud to announce that it will be hosting the 20th Annual Caribbean Area Network for Quality Assurance in Tertiary Education (CANQATE) Conference. This milestone event will take place from November 5-7, 2024 at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel in Kingston, Jamaica, under the theme “Twenty Year of Promoting Quality in Higher Education: Development, Impact and Opportunities for a Sustainable Future.”
As the premier gathering of quality assurance professionals in the region, the CANQATE Conference provides a vital platform for the exchange of ideas, best practices, and innovative strategies to enhance the quality of tertiary education across the Caribbean. This year’s conference will feature a series of keynote addresses, plenary sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities designed to foster collaboration and drive continuous improvement in higher education.
The UCJ is honored to spearhead this landmark event, which underscores its commitment to upholding and advancing the standards of higher education in Jamaica and the wider Caribbean. As we celebrate two decades of CANQATE, the UCJ invites stakeholders from across the region to join in this critical dialogue to shape the future of education.
